AVA47 provides exceptional long life in those applications where there are hydrocarbons or
liquids flowing intermittently in the gas. Standard carbon filled TeflonŽ rings depend on riding
over a coating of TeflonŽ on the rod or the cylinder to provide minimal ring wear. In
applications where solids or liquids are present and tend to remove the coating provided by
standard carbon filled, AVA47 is the material of choice. By adding anti-friction materials,
excellent ring life is achieved along with eliminating wear on the piston rod, piston or cylinder
wall.
